Childcare Staff Opportunity

Do you have a passion for working with children? The Town of Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department is seeking childcare staff! Duties include the care of small and large groups of children ranging in ages of 1-7 years, providing a variety of age appropriate activities, games and crafts, as well as feeding and changing of the participants. Employees must be high energy with a desire to work with children. Successful applicants will have prior experience working with children.

The Mansfield Community Center Child Care Room is currently open during the following hours:

• Monday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
• Tuesday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
• Wednesday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
• Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
• Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
• Sunday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

These hours are subject to change. It is expected that Child Care Staff have some weekend availability. All Child Care Staff must obtain and maintain a current Infant and Child CPR certification; opportunities for certification will be provided if necessary.

All childcare positions are part-time, hourly position with no benefits. Pay: $16.35 per hour. Selected candidates will be subject to a background check.
