The Logistics Administrator at The Chef’s Garden is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of high-priority shipments, verification and issuing customer invoices. This role emphasizes coordination with sales, customs, and carriers while managing documentation, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in both domestic and international logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Analyze logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions. Monitor and track high-priority and overnight shipments; escalade issues as needed. Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and documentation. Complete daily invoicing accurately and efficiently. Prepare and verify export documents and shipping labels (air bills, freight bills, commercial invoices etc.). Ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage international shipping documentation, including familiarity with CARM and incoterms (e.g. DDP) Serve as a liaison between customs brokers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. Run and verify delivery, claims and shipping cost reports on a regular basis. Support internal coordination between logistics and sales by providing tracking information, shipping rate updates and finding cost-effective shipping alternatives. Operate tow motor equipment (certification required). Any and all other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Valid driver’s license with clean record. Experience in logistics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving roles. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Adobe PDF). Tow motor certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift 50 lbs and be active throughout shift. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness and ability to learn new processes, systems, and procedures.
