Sr. Financial Analyst

Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team. This role will play a critical part in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision support. The ideal candidate is comfortable diving deep into financials, working cross-functionally, translating data into insights, and supporting executive-level decision-making. Key Responsibilities Support the annual budgeting process, monthly and quarterly reforecasts, and long-range financial planning Help develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives, investments, and strategic planning Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to budget and forecast and provide variance analysis with actionable insights Partner with business leaders across departments (Sales, Operations etc.) to drive financial accountability and performance Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership Support board materials, investor reporting, ad hoc analyses Improve and streamline financial processes, systems, and reporting tools Assist with cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reporting outputs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Minimum 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking or investment analysis Strong foundation in accounting principles and understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling (advanced formulas, scenario analysis) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise insights for non-financial stakeholders Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Page Mechanical Group, Inc.
