THE POSITION:

The Exercise Specialists are one of the most integral positions in our company and are not only responsible for assisting patients with exercise plans and modalities but also play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships and driving the patient experience. This is the ideal role for anyone who has received their undergraduate degree and would like to gain experience in a clinical setting prior to applying to PT/OT school or other medical program. With 35+ locations we connect our exercise specialists globally and regionally for development and collaboration opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma (Bachelors degree in related field preferred) Experience in a customer facing position Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical activity including but not limited to bending, reaching, squatting, lifting, pulling, pushing, getting up and down from a lying position on the floor, and prolonged periods of standing. Lifting 35 lbs. from the floor to chest level. Demonstrate exercises including but not limited to jumping, balancing on one leg, rotation of the shoulder in multiple planes, and using exercise bands. Ability to properly transfer patients with use of good body mechanics while maintaining patient safety. Required to work at an IRG facility and be responsible for your own transportation to and from work site. Potential exposure to virus, disease, and infections from patients in the working environment. Ability to perform custodial duties using medical grade cleaning products – including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, laundry, and disinfection of exercise equipment. Work for extended periods of time at a video display terminal and will be required to use a keyboard to enter and gather information.

PAY & BENEFITS INFORMATION:
