DailyPay available. Military and veteran friendly employer. Position Summary The Cook is responsible for accurately preparing a variety of food items according to menus and food safety regulations. The role requires multitasking, problem‑solving, and effective communication with team members. Schedule Monday‑Friday, 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old. At least one year of cooking experience. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience in a cafeteria or large‑volume production facility is a plus. Knowledge of food safety procedures. Core Responsibilities Follow the daily prep list and complete opening/closing checklists. Set up workstation with required ingredients and equipment. Use kitchen utensils and equipment safely. Comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules. Handle, store, label, and rotate products in accordance with state laws. Maintain inventory levels at line stations. Understand menu items and prep ingredients. Multitask in a high‑volume kitchen. Operate in hot and cold work conditions. Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing. Stand on feet for much of the shift.
