Do you take pride in providing a clean and sanitary experience for hotel guests? You might be a great fit to join our team! We're hiring a reliable and detail-oriented laundry attendant who is comfortable performing a variety of duties, including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens.
Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Comprehensive health insurance is offered for both part-time and full-time employees. If this sounds like you, apply today!
Compensation:$12 - $13 hourly
Responsibilities:- Inspect all linens to identify stains and remove stains with appropriate cleaning products and techniques
- Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
- Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
- Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions
- Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques
- Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
- 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
