Position Overview This role provides exceptional front‑desk and client support for our Emergency and Specialty teams. It serves as a key communication hub between clients, doctors, and hospital departments while helping ensure a smooth, organized, and welcoming experience from check‑in to check‑out. A typical day may include welcoming clients and patients, answering phones, coordinating appointments, managing check‑ins and check‑outs, helping with financial discussions, handling documentation, and keeping communication flowing smoothly between clients and medical teams. Throughout the day, you will help bring calm, clarity, and compassion to clients who may be stressed, worried, or navigating complex medical information. Key Responsibilities Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client questions Support check‑ins, check‑outs, financial conversations, and client communication Maintain accurate records and manage documentation such as pet insurance, records, and faxes Coordinate communication between clients, doctors, and specialty teams Help maintain an organized, clean, and collaborative front‑desk environment Qualifications Veterinary Hospital experience preferred but not required At least 1 year of client service experience in reception, phones, or scheduling required Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and customer service skills Positive, solution‑focused mindset and team‑oriented approach Comfortable in a high‑energy, emotionally dynamic environment Familiarity with EzyVet or Vet Radar is a plus Weekend and holiday availability required Expectations of Conduct All of our staff is expected to demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and accountability in all aspects of the role.
