Job Summary: MRI Tech

- Perform MRI imaging procedures for adult acute care and outpatient settings, serving patients across all age groups (neonate through older adult).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm.
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required.
- Proficient in charting with at least 1 year of Epic experience.
- Required certifications: ARRT(R)(CT), ARRT MR, BLS, and active SCQRSA license.
- Conduct imaging studies (chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, musculoskeletal trauma, spine) with and without contrast.
- Responsible for preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs.
- Follow isolation precautions and operate multiple imaging equipment platforms (GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba) and PACS.
- May be required to float to other units/campuses according to hospital policy.
- Work at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, a regional teaching hospital and trauma center in Columbia, SC.
- All time-off requests must be submitted with application and are subject to approval.
- Accepts local candidates per facility radius rule; does not accept first-time travelers or pending licenses.
