Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current, active license as a Physical Therapist
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings with children and adolescents
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Proven ability to create and implement effective treatment plans for students with a range of physical needs
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an academic environment
• Capable of adapting to changing caseloads and school schedules
• Familiarity with IEP process and school-based documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine their physical abilities and needs within the educational setting
• Develop and execute individualized therapy plans that align with student goals and IEP objectives
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to foster student success and maximize functional mobility in the classroom
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate progress notes and complete all required reporting
• Advocate for student needs within the school system and provide training or education to staff as needed
• Attend team meetings and professional development sessions as required
