The Opportunity Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners ED/UCC experience preferred. New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered. A 3-month training internship (including didactics) offered to candidates who have newly graduated and/or are new to emergency medicine. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, and PALS are required. Current CA state license is a plus. The Practice Saint Agnes Medical Center Fresno, California Part of Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation, Saint Agnes is a general medical and surgical hospital with Advanced Primary Stroke Center certification. Specialized services include advanced interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery, a breast imaging center, an area-wide hospice for adults and children, and more. An academic site, SAMC supports an ACGME accredited 3-year EM residency program hosting 24 residents. Providers work alongside residents with residents currently seeing approximately 40% of ED patients. Established Vituity site since 2013. The hospital has 436 beds with an annual ED volume of approximately 80,000.
