Snapshot / Role Overview
We're looking for an Automated Logic Programmer in the Los Angeles area to deliver precise DDC programming on special projects for a building automation contractor.
Impact
- Program and commission controls so buildings operate as designed.
- Turn complex sequences of operation into controller logic facility teams can trust.
- Cut commissioning rework by catching integration issues early.
Responsibilities
- Program Automated Logic controllers: point configuration, sequences, and driver setup.
- Develop graphics that give operators clear visibility.
- Integrate field devices and third-party controllers over BACnet and Modbus.
- Commission systems through point-to-point checkout, functional testing, and sequence validation.
- Troubleshoot controller failures, communication faults, and logic errors, and document fixes.
- Align programming with field conditions alongside project managers and technicians.
Must-Haves
- Hands-on Automated Logic programming and commissioning experience.
- Ability to read sequences of operation and mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of BACnet and Modbus integration.
Nice-to-Haves
- ALC certification.
- Experience on tenant improvement and special projects.
Compensation and Logistics
