This role involves job development, coaching, community engagement, documentation, and participant advocacy.What You’ll DoAssist participants with resumes, applications, interview preparation, and employment readinessProvide job coaching, workplace support, and on-the-job trainingSupport participants during hiring, onboarding, and employment retentionBuild relationships with local employers and community partnersComplete required case notes, reports, billing, and documentation accurately and timelyAttend trainings, orientations, and staff meetingsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and manage a flexible scheduleOrganized, compassionate, and detail-orientedPositive attitude and teamwork skillsCandidates must meet one of the following:Four years of related experience in vocational rehabilitation, job coaching, counseling, or working with individuals with disabilities; ORBachelor’s Degree in rehabilitation, counseling, social work, psychology, education, human resources, business administration, economics, or related field with one year of related experience; ORMaster’s Degree in a related field with six months of related experience; ORAssociate degree or unrelated Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with two years of related experienceAdditional Requirements:Must be at least 21 years oldMust meet State background screening requirementsMust maintain a clean 3-year driving recordCPR and First Aid certifications preferredMust obtain State of Florida Employment Specialist Certification within 30 days of hire if not already certifiedPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and work in community settings for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to assist individuals using adaptive equipment when necessary.Why Join Challenge Enterprises?At Challenge Enterprises, we believe in empowering individuals through opportunity, inclusion, and meaningful employment.
