As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.96 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at utility service locations. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols. Help protect utility-related equipment and infrastructure by reporting damaged property, suspicious activity, or conditions requiring attention. Minimum Requirements: Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be available for last-minute shift scheduling. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
