Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine or Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver’s license is required for RNs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum passing score of at least 80%, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Epic test-out required.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have been separated from Ascension employment for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. To receive the travel rate, the clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
