This is a people-management role: you will hire, develop, and coach a team, set the strategic agenda, and own outcomes across two primary focus areas. First, you will lead Amazon Business and pan-Amazon technical business development, go-to-market, and partnership strategy — with an emphasis on Agentic AI partnerships. You will wear a product hat and partner closely with product and technical teams, but you are primarily responsible for strategy, partner development, pan-Amazon orchestration, and GTM execution. Second, you will own product and go-to-market leadership for a multi-billion-dollar growth engine that turns Amazon Business into the purchasing backbone for the world's largest multi-entity organizations — enabling flagship enterprises, franchises, and member networks to extend tailored pricing, benefits, and buying experiences across every affiliated location and entity they touch.Your team will develop broad and strong relationships with external organizations and across Amazon. External organizations may include, among others, consulting firms, ePros, strategic vendors and channel partners. You will set the strategy for identifying new technology-driven partnership opportunities that drive acquisition and engagement to fuel Amazon Business growth, and you will help shape Amazon Business's strategic partnership framework globally.You will lead your team's work with partners across Amazon Business, AWS, and external go-to-market organizations to bring joint solutions to market — including Agentic AI tools and systems integrations that improve the procurement experience and reach new customers and segments. This is a technical business development role: your team pairs commercial judgment with enough technical fluency to scope what's possible, shape solutions with product and engineering, and turn emerging technology into partnerships that ship.Key job responsibilities-Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of technical BD and product managers; hire top talent, set clear goals, and grow careers.-Set the strategic direction for identifying technology and commercial opportunities with internal and external partners; guide your team in defining business cases, negotiating agreements, and driving rapid execution.-Drive pan-Amazon orchestration — connecting workstreams, sequencing priorities, and creating coherence across teams and geographies.-Drive GTM across strategic partnerships, joint campaigns, and partner success, with mechanisms to monitor the voice of the customer.-Wear a product hat and partner closely with product and engineering teams — influencing the roadmap, shaping architecture and integration strategy, and navigating technical complexity -Own the product vision and roadmap for the multi-entity growth engine; direct your team to prioritize features, make the right trade-offs, and deliver clear customer value.-Develop deep relationships with senior executives internally and at partners; oversee contractual negotiations and partner onboarding.-Own strategy discussions with senior leadership, and set the bar for your team's documents — PR/FAQs, product vision, operating plans, and technical specs.-Define success metrics and drive product adoption.Basic qualifications- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent- Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agenciesPreferred qualification - 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
