Registered Nurse RN - Medical Surgical Unit III G5 - Full Time Night Location: Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. Shift: Night, 36 hours per week. Pay: $46.90 - $63.09 per hour. Job Overview: The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the scope of practice defined by the State Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. The RN ensures patient safety, engages in evidence‑based practice, collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, and conducts interventions with measurable outcomes. Required Qualifications: ASN or Nursing Diploma One to two years of experience within specialty Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Certifications and Licenses Required: BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Valid New Jersey Driver's License Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS/BSN degree Clinical experience in an NLN‑accredited school Screening certification eligibility National certification Essential Functions: Assures patient safety and implements evidence‑based practice. Reports safety issues and medical errors. Monitors and understands the patient population served. Supervises and directs delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other providers. Sets priorities and evaluates outcomes through appropriate interventions. Uses the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize care plans.
