This role involves instructing both levels of Health Science Technology 1 and 2, focusing on teaching anatomy and physiology, health care careers, medical terminology, and basic nursing skills to students pursuing certification as nursing assistants. Job changers with a passion for teaching and training the next generation of healthcare providers are encouraged to inquire. Responsibilities Deliver engaging and informative lessons in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and healthcare. Provide hand-on instruction in nursing assistant skills (if applicable). Foster a dynamic learning environment that inspires student interest and participation. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies. Support students in achieving their academic and career goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the nursing field. Ability to qualify for site-based certification in the State of NH. Teacher certification is not mandatory but can be obtained through a site-based learning plan. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiasm for teaching and motivating students.
