What your day will look like: Perform various preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on all types of fleet equipment Troubleshoots mechanical and electronic malfunctions, perform all types of repairs, rebuild/replace major equipment components Perform emergency roadside services as needed Research and order parts, accurately record usage, and asset in managing stock inventory Complete electronic work orders, ensure all information is recorded in computerized maintenance system Assist team members with troubleshooting & repairs, researching parts, and inspecting equipment Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all Good Manufacturing Practices What you need to succeed: Minimum 21 years old Dependable with a good attitude Good safety record The ability to receive and follow instructions The ability to work well and get along with other employees and/or customers In the event of drivers, to have a good MVR Must be able to pass the Company physical Must have a neat appearance Must have made a living three (3) years as a vehicle mechanic (verifiable) Must have own tools for cars and large trucks Must be able to obtain a CDL A classification licenses within thirty (30) days after hire or transfer into the position, absent extenuating circumstances Must be able to pass the company general driving test before hire and specific driving test after training Must be able to pass DOT physical Physical Requirements Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc
