School Faculty - High - Immaculata-La Salle HS High School Music Teacher Published: 02/25/2026 Immaculata -La Salle High School, a private Catholic school in Miami, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and experienced High School Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year who has a deep understanding of Music and who will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for High School music. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in music or related field. Master’s degree in music or related field preferred. FDOE Teaching Certification in Music, grades K-12. Minimum one year of classroom experience. Demonstrated and varied music teaching methodologies, and the ability to explain concepts in different ways using examples and analogies and/or a willingness to continue to learn in their teaching profession. Familiarity with iPad Applications and a willingness to work with such technology, creating multi‑media presentations. Familiarity with MS Office, online gradebooks, and other online educational applications; he/she should have a willingness to work with such technology. Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good computer literacy, including ability to navigate online applications and search engines effectively. Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required. Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church. Must have a professional demeanor.
