Software Engineer

Software EngineerThe Software Engineer is responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of professionally engineered software solutions which meet or exceed Park Place Technologies' quality standards and business needs. Responsibilities include:Collaborating with product managers, business analysts and the user community to establish, analyze and document technical requirements.Producing technical designs and ensuring peer review.Developing software in an agreed timescale.Influencing programming patterns and standards.Collaborating with QA engineers to create test plans and conduct unit and integration testing.Participating in the resolution of issues and software bugs identified as part of the SDLC or by software users.Collaborating, sharing, and learning from team members, and actively following all team processes.Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Demonstrate core competency in programming fundamentals and best practices.Be a strong problem solver and possess an excellent work ethic and attitude.Possess strong organizational and process analysis skills.Demonstrate willingness to work on your craft and take initiative in learning new skills.Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred.Travel: <5%
