Qualified candidates must have aBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio, and 10+ years of civil engineering experience focused on site development and/or municipal infrastructure. The Municipal Project Manager will serve as a key technical and project leadership resource, working closely with clients, engineers, technical staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Your Responsibilities Manage civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful project delivery and strong long-term relationships. Lead project teams, including engineers, designers, and technical staff across multiple offices. Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and overall project performance. Serve as Engineer of Record when applicable and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and other technical disciplines. Review engineering plans, specifications, reports, and project deliverables for quality and compliance. Support site development and municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, drainage, grading, and related infrastructure. Support proposal development, fee preparation, client presentations, and business development activities. Participate in client meetings, project reviews, and construction-related activities. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineering staff. Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Columbus office and surrounding Ohio markets. Maintain a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence, quality, and client satisfaction. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Ohio required. 10+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on site development and/or municipal infrastructure. Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Strong client communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Familiarity with Ohio permitting processes, codes, and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of project scope, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a collaborative environment. Interest in contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s Columbus and surrounding Ohio markets.
