Barista Position at La Boulangerie
La Boulangerie is currently hiring for an enthusiastic Barista to join our Front of House team! Our ideal candidate is professional, energetic, and has a basic knowledge of beverage service.

La Boulangerie is looking for passionate individuals who love food and have a genuine heart for hospitality! We are a charming neighborhood bakery and caf that is known for our handcrafted pastries, breads, and delicious sandwiches made from locally sourced products. We are a great place to meet up with neighbors and friends to sit and relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the neighborhood vibe.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and accepting orders and payments
- Prepare beverage items
- Establish consistent communication with FOH, BOH, and management
- Provide attentive service while anticipating needs
- Maintain bar cleanliness and organization
- Build and maintain good rapport with regular customers
- Offer menu insight and recommendations when appropriate
Skills and Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar high-volume establishment
- 2+ years of experience is preferred
- Must have a personable demeanor and friendly personality
Physical Demands
- The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
