Pharmacy Floor Technician * Cranberry Township, PA *

Location: Cranberry Township, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM + every other weekend (days off before and after weekend worked)
Pay Rate: $20–$23/hr (paid weekly)
Employment Type: Full-time contract

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented Pharmacy Floor Technicians to support daily pharmacy operations. In this role, you will assist with preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification by accurately picking, labeling, and scanning medications in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and prepare daily medication orders under pharmacist supervision
• Pick medications from shelves and prepack storage areas
• Label, scan, and prepare prescriptions for final verification
• Assist with packaging and manual preparation of medications
• Support prepacking of frequently ordered medications during low-volume periods
• Process returned medications according to established procedures
• Identify and report scanning or labeling discrepancies to the pharmacist
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and restock supplies as needed
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines and safety regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician or pharmacy support experience
• Experience in warehouse, production, or order fulfillment environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift (7–10 hours)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
• Strong hand dexterity and visual attention to detail

Additional Information

• No pharmacy license required
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required
• Must adhere to attendance, safety, and dress code policies
