About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide in-home support and personal care assistance in Brooklyn. This role is ideal for someone who values dignity, respect, and meaningful one-on-one support while helping clients maintain comfort and independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting support as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support in a respectful, professional manner
• Help with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
• Support light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment
• Assist with meal preparation and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
• Remind clients to take medications as directed, when applicable
• Monitor and report any changes in condition, behavior, or safety concerns
• Follow care plans, instructions, and agency policies carefully

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Home Health Aide certification or equivalent credentials preferred, if applicable to the assignment
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent care
• Ability to assist with physical tasks associated with client support
