This is direct hire not contract work. The unit provides care for a broad mix of general medical patients and surgical overflow, including Neuro Spine, Urology, ENT, General Surgery, and other postoperative populations. That variety gives nurses the opportunity to strengthen their clinical judgment and develop experience across several specialties without having to leave the unit. A flex unit should expand your skills—not make every shift feel like organized chaos. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Coordinate and provide nursing care for general medical patients and surgical overflow populations Assess patients, identify priorities, and develop individualized plans of care Care for patients with complex medical, postoperative, psychosocial, educational, and discharge‑planning needs Collaborate with physicians, nursing teammates, therapists, case management, and other interdisciplinary resources Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, recovery, and discharge needs Participate in unit education, performance improvement, and evidence‑based nursing initiatives

SKILLS YOU NEED
