Revenue Accountant

Sabine is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our fast-paced accounting team. Position responsibilities include processing oil and gas revenues for operated and non-operated properties, processing prior period adjustments (PPAs), preparing account reconciliations and analysis and supporting various team projects. Responsibilities: Process oil and gas revenues and related deducts/taxes for operated properties timely and accurately Process prior period adjustments (PPAs) for operated properties Process and review oil and gas accruals for operated and non-operated properties Prepare and analyze monthly account reconciliations Allocate cash Lead monthly revenue check-write process including netted checks Answer royalty owner questions Assist with special projects Support audits and similar inquiries Analysis of monthly/quarterly/yearly revenue results Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Preferred candidates have 4+ years of experience Oil and Gas Industry experience preferred Ability to commute to office in Houston, TX 77002 Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Critical thinker with the ability to recognize problems and find solutions EMK3 experience preferred Education or Formal Training: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Sabine Energy
