Mobile Field Service Technician

REIC Rentals is hiring an experienced Mobile Field Service Technician to join our growing service team. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently in the field, diagnosing and repairing equipment directly at customer job sites.

As a Mobile Field Service Technician, you will operate a company service truck and travel to customer locations to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of heavy equipment. A Class A CDL is preferred but not required . If you have strong hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical troubleshooting experience and take pride in fixing equipment right the first time, we'd love to hear from you.

• Monday-Friday
• On-call rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company service truck to travel to customer job sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel engine issues.
• Perform field repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and aerial lift equipment.
• Diagnose electrical systems using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
• Repair hydraulic systems, including cylinders, pumps, valves, motors, and hoses.
• Perform preventative maintenance and rental-ready inspections.
• Complete annual ANSI/OSHA inspections on applicable equipment.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Accurately complete work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck.
• Provide outstanding customer service while representing REIC Rentals in the field.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
• Experience repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, or aerial lift equipment.
• Strong hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
• Experience using diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company driving requirements.
