RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area.
- Work with a partner in most cases.
- Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.
- Operate test bench and load test data in the system
- Verify test results and promote part to final assembly and paint
- Perform final assembly and Paint for final pump
- Log the serial numbers for assembly and communicate with Planning and Order management the readiness for shipping
- Follows Company’s Compliance requirements.
- Maintains and improves the quality management system.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:
- Regardless of other duties, the PCP Assembly & Test operator has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education and Training: High school or as deemed sufficient by management
- Technical Requirements: ability to read and interpret routine instructions; use of ERP system; basic computer skills; ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; ability to operate material moving equipment –overhead crane.
- Experience: At least 2 years work experience in the area, or as deemed sufficient by management
