Junior Network Engineer

To support the organization's network infrastructure, the full-time remote Junior Network Engineer will manage network design, implementation, and maintenance while ensuring reliability, performance, and security across various environments. Key responsibilities Perform full lifecycle network engineering activities including planning, design, implementation, and documentation of network infrastructure Analyze existing network systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements for enhanced capacity and reliability Monitor network performance, respond to incidents, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule for critical network support Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field with a focus on telecommunications/security JNCIA, CCNA, or equivalent vendor network associate level certification 1-3 years of relevant work experience in network engineering Knowledge of TCP/IP stack, OSI model, and enterprise-level firewall management Familiarity with Linux/UNIX/BSD operating systems in a server capacity
