Minimum Requirements: Education: College associate degree, diploma or equivalent. Experience: A minimum of one-year related working experience. Preferred / Desirable Qualifications: Experience in a municipal or government setting. Experience in software applications. The purpose of this position is to provide technical administrative support to the department director, managers, and elected officials. The role involves completing clerical tasks including processing and recording transactions, conducting routine research and preparing reports, reviewing materials, maintaining schedules, compiling and distributing agenda information. Additional duties include preparing or planning special events, answering public inquiries, assisting with budget input, monitoring interactions with elected officials, creating journal entries, researching discrepancies, providing accounting support, reconciling accounts, and serving on boards and commissions.
