Job Summary Summer Camp Program, Director(s)
Position(s) may become available for current or next school year. Temporary, part-time, assignment and hours TBD; afterschool or summer camp program experience preferred. Employment dates TBD. CPR Certification is preferred.
New hires with the district are required to attend an orientation. More than one position per category may become available and applicants may be considered for placement throughout the district based upon appropriate and current Alabama Certification credentials.
Prior to employment, all potential employees must present evidence of a clear status resulting from a (self-pay) background check through the Alabama State Department of Education. Salary schedules are available on the MSCS website. Job descriptions are available at the MSBOE Central Office, 3200 S. Wilson Dam Road, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661.
All positions are posted to meet the minimum number of days required by state regulations and are open until filled by the Muscle Shoals Board of Education. Alabama school boards are required by state law to verify the employment eligibility of newly hired employees by using the federal E-Verify program. New employees are required to provide a Social Security number, an unexpired identity document that contains a photograph, and other acceptable documents that establish employment eligibility. In addition to determining whether a new hire is authorized to work in the United States, E-Verify will confirm that the employee's name and Social Security match.
