ProCare Therapy is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Paraprofessionals to join a fantastic school district in Walpole, Massachusetts, for the 2026–2027 school year!

We're hiring for Elementary and Middle School positions, including both 1:1 student support and floating roles. Whether you're passionate about building meaningful relationships with individual students or enjoy supporting multiple classrooms throughout the day, we have an opportunity for you.

Positive, collaborative school environment

Responsibilities

Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students throughout the school day
Implement teacher-directed instructional activities and classroom accommodations
Support students in both general and special education settings
Assist with classroom routines, transitions, organization, and engagement
Reinforce positive behavior strategies and individualized support plans
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and administrators
Help create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

CPR is required, but these classes are also offered by our client!

1:1 Support Roles

Provide individualized assistance to a designated student throughout the school day
Encourage independence while supporting academic, behavioral, communication, and social goals
Implement behavior support plans and classroom accommodations with consistency and care

Floater Roles

Provide flexible support across multiple classrooms and student programs
Assist wherever additional instructional or behavioral support is needed
Build strong relationships with students and staff while adapting to a variety of classroom settings

Qualifications

High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Previous experience working with children, schools, special education, ABA, or behavioral support is highly preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
