EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP ACADEMYJob Description: Leadership Instructor/Educator (Full-Time)Effective Leadership Academy (ELA) is an educational non-profit that partners with schools andyouth serving community partners providing students and educators with a rigorous curriculum for21st Century Skills development, reinforcing essential social and emotional and work forcedevelopment skills. ELA has grown to impacting over 60,000 students.POSITION:The Leadership and Career Readiness Instructor/Educator is a trained Effective Leadership Academy (ELA) team member who's primary function is to facilitate all ELA programs.In addition, the Lead Facilitator will work with designated school partners to build strong workingrelationships, coordinate existing programs, and strategically continue to expand these specificrelationships/contracts to ensure that ELA remains a leader in our field.EXPECTATIONS:Responsible for delivery and facilitation of all ELA programs; CAMP LEAD, Pathways to Success,LEAD's, Career Leadership Academy (CLA) and other key ELA programming, delivered both in personand virtually online.Program delivery typically averages 70% to 90% of weekly scheduleThis position requires travel to programming across multiple northeast Ohio counties, so avalid driver's license and your own personal and reliable transportation is required.Deliver programs employing ELA divergent learning pedagogy, serving as "guide on theside" to enable students to construct meaning from their experiences.Manage the classroom and its participants during programming which includes but is notlimited to tracking attendance, recognizing and addressing inappropriate behaviors,observing and documenting all aspects of student performanceMaintain positive relationships with students, teachers, school administration, anddepending on the program, parents and/or community members.Responsible for all administrative tasks related to program/program preparation, includingpreparation of program materials/program review/updating PowerPoints to adjust for timeand school language.Participate in ELA training and professional development.Collaborate with ELA staff on other duties assigned in a variety of daily administrative tasks and special projects.Hybrid work model: Typical hours range between 7-3pm or 8-4pm based on programmingneeds. Mondays are regarded as a required in-person day. Programming can be up to 5days per week across NEO schools or partners.
