Work Environment\nThis remote position allows you to engage with clients from home, utilizing telehealth technology to deliver high-quality therapy. Our team collaborates virtually, fostering an environment of support and continuous professional development. We emphasize a balanced work schedule, typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive and culturally informed mental health assessments to fully understand each client's unique experiences and challenges. \n
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies that respect individual backgrounds and preferences. \n
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower informed decision-making. \n
- Document all clinical encounters and maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency workshops. \n
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and treatment methods in mental health to continually refine your therapeutic approach. \n
In this role, you will work closely with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants. You'll have the unique opportunity to foster impactful relationships with clients, ensuring they receive the culturally appropriate care they deserve. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia. \n
- A strong understanding of mental health disorders and culturally competent approaches to therapy. \n
- Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy using inclusive practices. \n
- Effective crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in challenging situations. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain clinical documentation efficiently. \n
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical practice in all interactions. \n

- At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience, with proven expertise in working with diverse populations. \n
- Experience in telehealth settings and comfort with technology for remote therapy. \n
- Participation in ongoing training in cultural competence and awareness of mental health issues affecting marginalized groups. \n
