Responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide assistance in the kitchen as needed, especially during peak times. • Operate industrial dishwasher. • Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary. • Empty and clean all trash receptacles. • Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources. • Clean dish storage. • Follow sanitization policies at all times. • Perform opening, closing and side work. • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately. • Report any sanitization or janitorial issues. • Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • High level of professionalism. • Excellent verbal communication skills. • Strong teamwork skills. • Strong organizational skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Past dishwasher or casual dining restaurant experience is a plus, but not necessary. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to lift and carry at least thirty (30) pounds. • Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Compensation: $15 hourly to start
