Research Analyst

DGS Office of External Affairs

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection seeks a Research Analyst for the Bureau of Energy and Technology Policy in New Britain, CT. Working within the Office of Federal and Regional Energy Policy, you will engage in energy and transmission policy advocacy, participate in New England Power Pool forums and ISO-New England proceedings, and support state-level energy initiatives. This full-time, hybrid-eligible position involves research, data analysis, writing, and public engagement projects that advance the state's goals for affordable, reliable, and clean energy. Key qualifications Six years of professional experience in research, data analysis, or economics Knowledge of research methods, statistics, and data analysis Strong oral and written communication skills Experience with financial or economic modeling and policy analysis Ability to work on multiple technical projects simultaneously with team collaboration Experience presenting complex topics to diverse audiences #J-18808-Ljbffr
