Job Description
The Cashier Food Prep role is integral to maintaining smooth operations in a small team environment of 2-3members. This position combines efficient cash handling and customer service with skilled preparation of both hot and cold foods. Training is provided on POS systems and kitchen equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational effectiveness. Flexibility during peak hours, including affermions, evenings, and weekends, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare both hot and cold food items following food safety guidelines
- Deliver friendly and prompt customer service
- Manage inventory to maintain stock levels
- Clean and sanitize work areas to meet health standards
- Comply with all safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate effectively within a small team
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in food service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Basic math skills
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Attention to detail
