Step into a vital leadership role overseeing psychiatric nursing care during overnight hours. This contract opportunity offers an immediate start as an Off-Shift House Nurse Supervisor, guiding nursing teams and coordinating patient care in a behavioral health setting.

Schedule:

• 10:45pm 7:15am
• Five 8-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours
• Every other weekend: Friday and Saturday, 11pm 7am

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Previous experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing strongly preferred
• Proven leadership or supervisory background within healthcare settings
• Strong decision-making, crisis intervention, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable, organized, and adaptable to fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the overnight shift
• Coordinate timing, continuity, and quality of patient care
• Act as senior clinical decision-maker during off-shift hours
• Serve as the primary resource for staff in handling emergencies, admissions, and patient concerns
• Ensure effective communication between teams and with oncoming/outgoing leadership
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and facility policies
• Facilitate a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
