About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in specialty License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT Must-Have: Experience with Epic charting system preferred Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign the individual to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing the travel contract, the individual accepts the above and will report as assigned by the immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. Travelers should not apply for this role if they are uncomfortable with the above. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. The unit will accept first-time travelers who are experienced RRTs; no new graduates will be considered. References are not required for submission, but two manager or supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start the contract. Candidates must have a compact or state license in hand upon submission. Modules will be completed during orientation and factored into orientation hours. Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the facility for one full year before they can return as travelers.
