Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients, including neonates, infants, and pediatrics.
- Manage patients with diagnoses such as prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS.
- Use special equipment such as trach/vents, PICCs/CL, TPN/IL.
- Follow protocols for patient monitoring, medication administration, and maintaining patient comfort.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with patient transitions to and from the unit, ensuring compliance with all safety procedures.
