Ohio) provides strategic vision, leadership, and direction for the research, development, expansion, and sustainability of innovative service‐delivery programming across the state of Ohio. This position is responsible for the creation, execution, and oversight of innovative programs that advance access to assistive technology for Ohioans with disabilities.Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior Program Lead plays a critical role in strengthening A.T. Ohio’s innovative assistive technology programs, impact, visibility, and long-term organizational viability.Provides vision and strategic leadership and direction for the research, development, testing and sustainability of assistive technology for statewide service delivery programs that support individuals with disabilities through assistive technology. Leads the design, implementation, and supervision of new service programs aligned with the mission and long-term goals of A.T. Ohio.Works strategically within Ohio’s education, disability, healthcare, and workforce systems to elevate A.T. Ohio’s presence as a premier research-informed assistive-technology service organization. Serves as a key liaison and point of contact for statewide education agencies, disability-related organizations, veterans’ organizations, and other strategic partners. Builds and maintains collaborative relationships to support program growth and statewide service expansion.Represents A.T. Ohio in state and national initiatives related to assistive technology and disability services. Advances long-term sustainability by developing research supported, revenue-generating service models for school systems, veterans’ organizations, disability agencies, and state partners such as the Ohio Department of Aging. Manages and monitors budgets for service-delivery programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with organizational priorities. Develops and supports external funding strategies, including grant development and fee-for-service programming. Prepares reports, data, and narrative summaries demonstrating program outcomes, impact, and growth for state and national funders.Duties40%Provides strategic vision and leadership for the research, development, implementation, and advancement of statewide assistive-technology service programs supporting individuals with disabilities. Leads the design, piloting, evaluation, and oversight of innovative service-delivery models aligned with the mission, strategic priorities, and long-term goals of A.T. Ohio.Conducts needs assessments, gap analyses, and environmental scans to identify emerging trends, underserved populations, and opportunities for service expansion across Ohio. Collaborates strategically within Ohio’s education, disability, workforce-development, and veteran-support systems to strengthen A.T. Ohio’s position as a leading statewide assistive-technology provider.Develops evidence-informed programs that address gaps in educator, intervention specialist, and service-provider knowledge related to the effective use of assistive technology for students and individuals with disabilities. Establishes programs that demonstrate measurable outcomes, scalability, sustainability, and funding viability.Serves as a primary liaison to statewide education agencies, disability organizations, workforce and veteran-serving entities, researchers, and other strategic partners. Builds and maintains multidisciplinary, cross-sector partnerships that support program innovation, pilot implementation, evaluation, knowledge translation, service growth, and long-term funding readiness.35%Advanced long-term organizational sustainability by developing and refining revenue-generating, grant-funded, and fee-for-service programs for school systems, veterans’ organizations, disability agencies, and state partners, including the Ohio Department of Aging, grounded in demonstrated outcomes and evidence-based practices. Managed and monitored budgets for research, program development, and service delivery activities, ensuring fiscal accountability, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with organizational priorities. Identified, developed, and supported external funding opportunities, including research grants, demonstration funding initiatives, partnership development, and fee-for-service programming. Oversaw data collection, analysis, reporting, and narrative development to demonstrate program effectiveness, return on investment, organizational growth, and statewide impact for state and national funders, stakeholders, and strategic partners.25%Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with education agencies, disability organizations, veterans’ organizations, researchers, policymakers, and other partners to support program growth, innovation, and statewide service adoption. Represents Assistive Technology of Ohio in state and national initiatives focused on assistive technology research, best practices, disability services, and systems change. Advances long-term sustainability by developing revenue-generating services for school systems, veterans’ organizations, disability agencies, and state partners, including the Ohio Department of Aging. Disseminates findings, lessons learned, and emerging models through presentations, reports, and collaborative forums. Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in education, rehabilitation, public administration, business or equivalent education and experience. 4 years’ experience program development, service delivery, systems‐level strategy, or organizational leadership within assistive technology, disability services, education, healthcare, workforce development, or a closely related field. Strong background in strategic planning, cross‐sector collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build trust and advance shared goals. Demonstrated success in revenue development, contract development, grants writing, or other external funding strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to represent the organization confidently in statewide and national forums, meetings, and initiatives. Strong organizational, problem‐solving, and project‐management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to analyze and communicate program outcomes, including the preparation of reports, data summaries, and narrative documentation for funders, boards, state agencies, and national partners.Desired Qualifications:Master’s or PhD’s in education, rehabilitation, public administration, business or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge of Ohio’s disability, education, aging, or workforce systems, including familiarity with relevant state or federal funding streams.
