Compensation: $209,000 – $225,000 / year + Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview

An established and high-performing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Western New York is seeking a compassionate, community-minded Primary Care Physician to join their team in Buffalo, NY.

In this role, you will lead a patient-centered care team delivering comprehensive outpatient primary care to diverse populations, including individuals and families who face barriers to accessing quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct outpatient primary care and manage comprehensive patient panels.

Lead cross-functional clinical care teams to coordinate individualized, patient-centered care plans.

Provide clinical supervision, collaboration, and mentorship to Advanced Practice Providers (NPs and PAs).

Support clinical quality improvement initiatives, risk mitigation, and evidence-based standards of care.

Maintain a primary clinical base in Buffalo, NY, with occasional local travel to other regional clinic sites as operational needs dictate.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Active, unrestricted New York State Medical License (or eligible to obtain prior to start).

Valid DEA registration and federal/state prescriptive authority.

Demonstrated commitment to healthcare equity and community health.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $209,000 – $225,000 (based on a full-time schedule, commensurate with experience and qualifications).

Sign-On Bonus: Included (distributed incrementally across your first year).

Loan Repayment / Tuition Assistance: Eligible for FQHC student loan assistance programs (up to $75,000 for full-time commitment with a 2-year service agreement; subject to program application and approval).

Incentive Compensation: Twice-yearly bonus potential.
