Job Title Sheet Metal Mechanic Trainee Location Daher’s Industry Division site in Stuart, Florida, is a key U.S. manufacturing facility specializing in the assembly of complex metallic and composite aerostructures for major commercial and defense aircraft programs. Job Description Daher announces recruitment is now open for our next highly sought-after Aviation Sheet Metal Mechanic Trainee class at our Stuart, Florida, location! This is an entry‑level opportunity where your career can take off. The training program is six weeks, with in‑class and hands‑on training, a mentor, and upon successful completion the trainee earns the Level One Sheet Metal Mechanic rank. Primary Role And Responsibilities Maintain, modify, and install aircraft sheet metal and composite components. Fabricate and rework complex structural assemblies. Use precision measuring devices to ensure quality standards. Perform inspections and maintain accurate work records. Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications. What You Need To Have Mechanical experience, including drills, pneumatic tools, and hand tools; must be able to demonstrate comfort level and competency using them. High School Diploma or GED. Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English. Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd shift upon completion of class. Information Related To The Position The compensation range is $22.28 to $24.40 per hour. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
