Job Overview JLL supports careers in commercial‑real estate brokerage. This Associate Broker role focuses on supporting brokerage activities, preparing market research, developing client deliverables, and partnering with senior brokers on client service and business development. Responsibilities Prepare offering materials and sophisticated Excel‑based models for new and existing assignments. Create ad‑hoc financial analysis and assist in preparing presentations and pitches. Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real‑estate market data for client deliverables. Read and review real‑estate documents such as leases, expense statements, environmental reports, and appraisals, and prepare abstract reports. Track, manage, and report on client portfolio data; perform due diligence and policy reviews. Support senior brokers in business‑development activities, including outreach, cold and warm calls, emails, and shadowing transaction negotiations. Contribute to local market research requests: market snapshots, overviews, quarterly decks, and topic‑specific research. Attend JLL University’s 13‑week training program for new Associate Brokers. Qualifications 0–3years of experience in commercial real‑estate or related field. Strong computer orientation and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Analytical ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into strategic deliverables. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships with business partners. Strong multi‑tasking, time‑management, and pressure‑management skills. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. State real‑estate license required (must be obtained within 90days of hire). Location Chicago, IL – On‑site Compensation Estimated annual salary: $44,000.00 – $44,000.00 USD. Final compensation determined by qualifications, location, and market conditions.
