About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5–6:1
• Care for post-operative patients including orthopedic (knees, hips, shoulder, cervical) and bariatric surgery cases
• Collaborate with a night shift team consisting of a Charge RN, staff RNs, and 2–3 LNAs
• Operate unit equipment including Hoyer lifts and CPM machines
• Float to Medical Oncology as needed per unit staffing requirements
• Fulfill weekend shift obligations per the 4-week schedule (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members with a strong patient-focused approach

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedics or bariatrics in addition to Med Surg background
• Familiarity with post-surgical patient populations and associated care protocols
