Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: PCU skill competency Description: General information about the unit includes 19 beds. The unit is staffed with a charge nurse, five nurses, and two patient care technicians during the day shift. The night shift includes a charge nurse, five nurses, and two patient care technicians. Patient ratios are maintained at 4-5 patients per nurse. The unit utilizes EMR systems for documentation. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Neuro competency is preferred. The typical procedures performed in this unit align with the standards of care for a progressive care environment. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary for effective patient care and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork. The role involves rotating weekends as part of the job requirements.
