Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

This position offers a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Expect to work 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care in line with hospital protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in Labor and Delivery.
• Assist in couplet care and LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum).
• Monitor fetal health and perform interventions as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS, and intermediate Fetal Monitoring; advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred.
• Some NICU experience is beneficial.
