This role involves providing specialized care in a Level III NICU for critically ill neonates, including managing infants requiring advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling. The position demands a highly experienced nurse capable of independently caring for high-acuity neonates in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Bachelors degree or equivalent, minimum 4 years of experience caring for high-acuity and critically ill neonates, therapeutic cooling experience required, experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen, manage invasive lines such as central, PICC, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), administer IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products, and respond quickly to neonatal deterioration. Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The nurse will provide direct neonatal care, participate in resuscitation and stabilization procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support families emotionally and educationally throughout the hospitalization.
