Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) needed for a travel assignment in Templeton, California. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,715 to $2,782. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Work setting: a hospital environment. The RN will plan and provide nursing care for patients and families during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including involvement in emergency situations and circulating for C-Sections.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases, including emergencies.
- Circulate for C-Sections and support the surgical team as needed.
- Assess patient status, respond promptly to maternal and fetal changes, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to ancillary staff within scope of practice.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, providing education and support throughout the perinatal period.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

Requirements
- Ability to provide care in a Labor and Delivery setting during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills for patient/family education and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated comfort handling obstetric emergencies and rapid clinical decision-making.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and to circulate for C-Sections as required.
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week assignment and adapt to rotating or fixed night scheduling.
