Overview The Fountain Group is seeking a Senior Category Manager for a prominent client. Location: Foster City, CA. Position details: onsite/hybrid option (3 days per week). Details Pay Rate: 100 to 105 USD hourly on W2. Title: Assoc Director Commercial Services (Senior Category Manager). Duration: 12+ months, with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and budget. Location: 333 Lakeside Drive, Foster City, CA. Required Skills 9+ years of Strategic Sourcing/Procurement experience, Category Management, Contract Negotiation, Performance Measurement, Project Management, Business Analysis, Change Management experience Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years experience in the following areas: Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Category Management, Contract Negotiation, Performance Measurement, Project Management, Change Management experience (preferred) Skills Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology with pragmatism to manage exceptions Ability to develop category and sourcing strategies by identifying opportunity areas Track record of effectively directing and leveraging procurement spend in assigned category areas by leading global cross functional teams Experience managing and maintaining strong supplier relationships Strong leadership presence and negotiation/contract management experience Extensive knowledge and experience with procurement/spend systems data and analysis Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities to develop sourcing team #J-18808-Ljbffr The Fountain Group
